DoorKing 9230 Slide Gate Operator

DoorKing’s Maximum Security operators are designed to operate vehicular slide gates in limited (Class III) and restricted (Class IV) applications only — such as industrial locations, loading docks, factories, airport security areas, sea ports, etc.; these operators must never be used in applications serving the general public. Because of the need to prioritize security in these applications, these operators are designed for fail-secure operation and require manual operation to open the gate in the event of a power outage. These operators are designed so that they can easily be mounted in the front, center or rear of the gate without any costly and time consuming field modifications; center mounting the operator requires the pedestal mounting base (optional on 9210, 9220). To enhance security, these operators feature an anti-tailgating circuit and an adjustable partial open feature to help prevent unauthorized vehicle access. In addition, speed controller options (except 9210) allow the user to adjust the gate speed from 1/2 ft/sec up to 4 ft/sec. and provides slow-start and slow-stop funcitons as well. An Emergency Close feature is available on some models which will close the gate at 4 ft/sec. This assures your security gate is open the absolute minimum amount of time necessary.

*Note: To be compliant with UL 325 and industry safety guidelines, additional Type B1 (photo eye) and/or Type B2 (sensing edge) entrapment prevention devices must be installed or OPERATOR WILL NOT RUN.
