BD Loops innovative hybrid loop sealant BD Loop Shield “BD-LS” is made using one of the most advanced, high performance polymer technologies available in sealants today.

BD-LS is 100% solids, quick curing, UV and weathering resistant, easy to dispense, capable of exterior use in extreme climates, paintable, extremely low odor, VOC compliant and California proposition 65 compliant.

BD Loop Shield “BD-LS” Self-Leveling Hybrid Sealant is a one-part, moisture curing sealant formulated to self-level and fill horizontal joints and crevices. BD-LS can also be used as a coating or for potting and encapsulating applications. BD-LS will not shrink because it is 100% solids. BD-LS is safe to use in confined and occupied areas because of its eco-friendly chemistry and low odor. BD-LS offers excellent adhesion to clean substrates which allows it to be used without a primer in most circumstances. BD-LS can be applied to damp concrete or other damp substrates and it will not outgas or bubble as conventional urethanes would when coming into contact with water prior to curing. BD-LS shows excellent resistance to UV degradation and will not suntan. BD-LS has excellent movement capabilities and elongation to help it move & expand with the joint.
